What should I wear?

Our 211 Worship services are a casual environment, so wear what feels comfortable! Jeans and a t-shirt will fit right in. In our Sanctuary Worship services, you can come as you are; however, many in Sanctuary wear business casual attire - jeans and a dress shirt or blouse would fit right in.

How long are your services?

Each of our services, including our 211 Sumner, 211 Yankee Hill and our Sanctuary Worship services, last roughly an hour. We invite you to arrive before our services start to connect with our community of worshipers!

Where should I park?

At both of our campuses, we have a team of volunteers that will help you feel welcome the moment you drive into our parking lot to the moment you leave. They will be able to help point you to the nearest parking spot and show you to our front doors.

How early should I arrive?

We recommend that you get there fifteen minutes early in order to find a seat, visit our welcome desk, or connect with our greeters.

Where can I learn more once I get there?

At both our Sumner and Yankee Hill campuses, we have welcome desks in the Commons area! We invite you to check out our welcome desks and talk to our friendly volunteers. They will be able to give you information about upcoming events, ways to get connected, and point you to our nearest restrooms.

Am I required to give an offering?

If you're new, please keep your wallet in your pocket. Giving is for those who have made Christ Lincoln their home church. We encourage you as our first time visitor to simply pray about where to start, and talk to a pastor once you are ready.

What is Christ Lincoln's denomination?

We are a Lutheran congregation and a member of the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod (LCMS). The LCMS is a group of about 6000 congregations who affiliate with one another - each congregation is different from others, and yet we share the same commitment to the Bible and its teachings.
